Remixing ‘Insomnia’ as a sleep aid for CBD brand OTO

The Background

OTO’s most successful product is their Sleep Drops. In 2022, they wanted an earned media campaign to drive the brand into culture and gain the attention of the 30+ affluent audience.

The Idea

“I can’t get no sleep”. A song made to fill dance floors almost 30-years ago, reimagined for a completely new purpose. Working with Faithless, we rerecorded insomnia as a sleep aid with a live orchestra. The new rendition lasted a blissful 27-minutes, the average time it takes to fall asleep.

SisterBliss worked with our sleep expert, James Wilson, to learn how sound can be utilised to aid a better nights sleep, before producing the new track herself. The coverage rolled in.
